A Rose by Any Other Name Would Whither and Would Die

An old friend of mine used to say that.  “A rose by any other name would whither and die.”  What a fascinating notion that a name should have that kind of power over an object.  I would like to be able to move that benefit into the world—to increase the goodness or perfection or superiority of a one by uttering a word.

In this spirit I have changed the names of a couple of things in my universe.  My trash cans and recycle bins on my various desktops are being renamed Disposerator, and the Akismet (spam protection) plugin I use here I have renamed Spamerator.

I feel that my disposeration and my spameration have both begun a stronger course due to this vital pneumonic alteration.
