This photograph (0367) was shot in historic Ballard before it was cutified (6 June 2006).

A re-imagining.

This unmanipulated photograph (8045) was shot in Discovery Park on 3 June 2009.
I hand held a magnifying filter (6x) to bring the moss (lower right) closer. I noticed that I was able to capture reflections of the sky above in the camera-side of the filter by tilting the filter away from the plane of the lens, and I quickly incorporated this into a series of shots.
There has been no post-processing work on this image. This is as shot (just a small contrast adjustment and the addition of the border).
Thanks for taking a look.
Ah, loss…
I shot this (4019) down on old Ballard Avenue 8 March 2008. Poor historic district has taken on the awful edge of trendy boutiques. However, this shop has the best window displays anywhere in Seattle.
This is different reflective angle on the same subject as my last post.
Enjoy!
