This photograph (7644) was shot at The Smoke Shop here in Ballard on 31 December 2008.

I was shooting in black and white, and this shot was part of a series to test my camera’s highest ISO setting.

It was pretty sincerely cropped.  I also made a small brightness (+10) and contrast (+20) adjustment (though these numbers could be slightly off since Vista crashed before I could post this a moment ago).  No other post-production work was done.

This photograph (7704) was shot out my studio window on 4 January 2009.

I made a brightness (+70) and contrast (+30) adjustment.  No other post-production work has been done.

It was shot in black and white with my lowest ISO using its slow-sync flash setting.

The flecks which resemble damage (a la photo-aging) are snow flakes caught in the flash.
