In part this new category of post is a place for me to stuff things I like or think are clever so I can remember them as I contemplate designing my future human spaces.

Take this shower tiling job which uses (I presume) some sort of heat sensitive material.

Is it or did I just invent it?

Also, I am often troubled by the way outlets insist the electric plugs jut out into a room.  Why not use something like this instead?
